I just moved here from Ft. Bragg, ( Fayetteville) NC and let me tell you. There are only two Indian spots to eat from and this one here in the Overland Park area has them beat. My first time to this place and I love it already.

Amazing. Very nice decor, service was quite good, portions and prices decent---but the food! My husband and I couldn't stop talking about the food. Dosas, North and South Indian dishes, a lot of vegetarian options, and everything we ate was SO good. Even the leftovers were to die for. Do yourself a favor and believe all the 5-star reviews!

Just to warn you, this restaurant is small. Think cafe, really. Also, the decor is a little too dark for me. Other than that, the place was honestly good. The service was good... not great, but good. The food was the highlight, as it should be. I also found the selection to be unique and flavorful. Yes, they have the traditional dishes like the chicken tikka masala, tandori chicken, and so on, and they were all good. BUT, they also had a variety of rice options I have never had before. I was impressed by this. Also, their naan was thinner and crispier than I have had before. I really liked that. Overall, this was a good meal and I will be back. Try it! I liked it.

Overall, the excellent food was worth the trip. This was our first time and we misunderstood that we had a choice of rice or nan so - my son pointed out that the menu does make that clear though. The service is something to work on - not that the gentleman was bad but not as attentive as we are used to at other restaurants. We ordered the vegetable appetizer plate which was great. We also ordered the vegetable korma, methi chicken and chilli n spice chicken special and each was very good. Overall, we will come back and try some new dishes:)

I love Indian food and have tried everyone in Overland Park and Lenexa. Chilli n Spice is the best so far, followed closely by Paradise India. If you eat at either one you won't go wrong, but I'll choose Chilli n Spice every time.

Wonderful buffet with extensive selection, many south Indian dishes not typical of buffets around here, and they aren't afraid to turn the heat up. This is my favorite Indian buffet in the KC area and I've tried many. Service is inattentive at best, but the food keeps bringing me back.

This place has very good food and is reasonably priced. The dishes are spicy enough without killing your taste buds completely. They do both north and south cuisines equally well. The indian chinese though is average. I agree that the service needs a little more attentiveness than other places but so far in my nine visits it has not bothered me too much. Once you let them know of any issues they resolve it quickly.
